Gold & Silver Jewelry Manufacturer
The roots of Clingold are deep in craft and design heritage. Driven by sheer passion for gold crafting and jewelry, we founded Clingold not simply to create classic and beautiful jewelry pieces, but to realize the dreams and designs by those who are obsessed with gold just like we do.
Each one of Clingold’ jewelry products is manufactured by us in our own factories using time-honoured handmade processes. In Clingold, handmade means absolutely making the jewelry parts by hand, NOT purchasing from third parties, and simply assemble them.
Every batch of jewelry starts with a wax mold, using cutting-edge 3D printing techniques in our own studio. The wax mold will later go through hand-finishing to ensure precision.
3D printing and hand-finishing each wax mold is a process where attention to detail is key, for the mold determines how the later sample looks like. Our experts check through the wax mold according to the 3D file, making sure they are 100% matched for further processing.
A silver mold leads us one step closer to the final product. As only metal can imitate metal shines and effects, this mold helps us see thoroughly how the metal product will finally look.
Silver mold is the most precise mold before mass production. The mold will later be used for lost wax casting to make the final solid gold jewelry products. You can even order a finished silver mold with stones set on it as your sample instead of gold to cut down costs.
Lost wax casting, a fine art rediscovered. Clingold adheres to traditional jewelry manufacturing where attention to detail is key, while time, patience, and skill are absolute necessities.
Now we put the cherry on top, setting the gemstone firmly on the metal base. Stones that do not fall make jewelry qualified as a legacy, and ONLY hand setting can guarantee that.
Stone setting directly on the finished gold base is the best way to secure it. Some of the factories will set the stone on the wax mold before lost wax molding, which leads to higher risks of stone loosing and falling. In the Clingold factory, this is unacceptable.
Polishing is the final step in making a sparkling piece of gold jewelry. Every piece is polished at least twice, one for its general elegance, the other for all the tiny little corners and caved-ins, with our self-invented honing tools.
We use cotton threads to polish all the openworks and tiny rings, and needles for caved-in parts. However small and structurally complicated the jewelry piece is, we make sure it is comprehensively polished, with consistency for every facade.
